NOR’EASTER LEAVES 9 DEAD IN HUGE STORM
Huge storm on Americas northeast coast as well as England’s coast leaves unprecedented damages.

There was an immensely powerful nor’easter that hit the east coast on the 2nd of March. The unprecedented ,hurricane force winds in the area caused a plethora of damage as well as fatalities. By March 5th there were at least nine confirmed deaths. Approximately 1.2 Million homes and businesses were left without power and dozens of schools cancelled classes, according to the Associated Press. Cleanup began on the 5th, where there were snapped trees as well as ‘mountains’ of debris, according to TIME magazine.
A second nor’easter hit on the 8th of March leaving over a half a million people without power, as reported by ABC News. A third storm is being predicted to hit by Monday on the 12th. According to the NY Times, most residents of the northern state of Massachusetts are saying that in all of their lives living there, never have they ever seen anything so catastrophic. |
